Rheem Heat Pumps

One system that heats and cools. We install Rheem heat pumps across the Endeavor Line — including dual-fuel setups that pair a heat pump with a gas furnace for St. Louis winters.

Why Rheem heat pumps?

Heating and cooling from a single, efficient system

A heat pump cools your home in summer like a central air conditioner, then runs in reverse in winter to move heat indoors — often at meaningfully lower operating cost than electric resistance heat. Rheem's Endeavor Line heat pumps come in single-stage, two-stage, and variable-speed tiers, and select models support EcoNet smart monitoring and control.

In our climate, many homeowners choose a dual-fuel setup: the heat pump handles mild weather efficiently, and a matched Rheem gas furnace takes over on the coldest days. We'll lay out both all-electric and dual-fuel options at your free estimate, with honest numbers for each.

  • Heats and cools

One outdoor unit covers both seasons, replacing a separate AC — and variable-speed models hold indoor temperatures with less swing in every season.

  • Dual-fuel ready

Pair a Rheem heat pump with a Rheem gas furnace and the system automatically uses whichever heat source makes sense — comfort on the coldest St. Louis nights, efficiency the rest of the year.

  • Efficient electric heating

Because a heat pump moves heat instead of generating it, winter operating costs are typically well below electric furnaces and baseboard heat.

  • Sized and balanced properly

Heat pumps are less forgiving of sloppy sizing and leaky ducts than furnaces. Our load calculation and Local 36 duct craftsmanship make sure the system can actually deliver.

The lineup

Heat Pumps tiers, explained simply

We'll recommend the tier that fits your home and budget — never a one-size-fits-all upsell.

  • Endeavor Prestige Series

    Up to ~20 SEER2 cooling

    Variable-speed (inverter)

Inverter-driven heating and cooling that adjusts output continuously — the steadiest comfort, the quietest operation, and the strongest cold-weather performance in the line.

  • Endeavor Classic Plus Series

    High-efficiency tier

    Two-stage

Two-stage operation for quieter running and better humidity control than single-stage equipment, at a friendlier price than the Prestige tier.

  • Endeavor Classic Series

    Meets current standards

    Single-stage

Dependable single-stage heat-pump comfort that meets today's efficiency standards — a solid value where budget leads the decision.

Tier framing follows Rheem's published Endeavor Line structure; exact cooling (SEER2) and heating (HSPF2) ratings vary by model and configuration. We confirm the real ratings for the specific equipment we quote at your free in-home estimate. Depending on the system, you may also qualify for Ameren Missouri or Spire rebates, and financing options are available.

Common questions

Rheem Heat Pumps: quick answers

Yes. Modern variable-speed heat pumps heat effectively in cold weather, and for homes that want extra insurance, a dual-fuel setup pairs the heat pump with a gas furnace that takes over automatically on the coldest days. We size the system to your home's real heating load either way.

If your furnace is newer, adding a heat pump in place of a straight AC creates a dual-fuel system that can lower shoulder-season heating costs. If you're replacing everything, we'll price both paths — all-electric heat pump and AC-plus-furnace — so you can compare honestly.

Classic is the value tier, Classic Plus adds quieter two-stage operation, and Prestige brings variable-speed comfort with the best efficiency and cold-weather performance. Your usage, ductwork, and budget decide which pencils out — that's exactly what the free estimate is for.

Qualifying high-efficiency heat pumps are frequently featured in utility efficiency programs such as Ameren Missouri's. Programs change, so we verify current eligibility for the specific equipment we quote before you sign — see our rebates page for what's active now.
