Terms and Conditions
Terms for using this website, requesting HVAC service, asking for estimates, and communicating with Degenhardt Heating and Cooling.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Degenhardt Heating and Cooling website and to online requests, calls, texts, emails, estimate requests, financing inquiries, rebate questions, maintenance-plan inquiries, and related communications with us. By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.
Website Information Only
Website content is provided for general informational purposes for Missouri HVAC customers. It is not professional engineering, legal, tax, financing, rebate, code, utility, or manufacturer advice. HVAC systems, homes, commercial spaces, code requirements, and utility programs vary. A qualified Degenhardt representative must evaluate the actual conditions before recommendations, pricing, scheduling, or work can be confirmed.
Urgent Service and Online Requests
Do not rely on an online form, email, text, review message, or website tool for urgent no-heat, no-cool, safety, gas, electrical, water, carbon monoxide, fire, or other emergency conditions. Call (314) 631-1554 directly for urgent HVAC help, and call 911 or the appropriate utility/emergency authority if there is a safety risk.
Online form submissions are not a confirmed appointment and do not guarantee a service window, dispatch, estimate, financing approval, rebate eligibility, or technician availability. A request is confirmed only after Degenhardt acknowledges it and provides a confirmed appointment or next step.
Estimates, Quotes, and Service Scope
Website descriptions, calculators, rebate explorers, financing examples, promotion pages, and service pages are not binding quotes. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change after inspection, diagnostic work, equipment selection, system access, code requirements, permitting needs, parts availability, manufacturer rules, utility requirements, or conditions discovered on site.
Degenhardt may decline work, recommend additional repairs, pause work for safety or code reasons, or revise scope and pricing when conditions require it. Any material scope changes should be approved before the additional work proceeds, except where immediate action is reasonably needed for safety or property protection.
Scheduling, Access, and Customer Responsibilities
Service is subject to technician availability, service-area coverage, weather, traffic, emergencies, parts availability, and customer access. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, safe and reasonable access to the work area, adult authorization when required, access to equipment, pets secured away from technicians, and truthful information about system history or known hazards.
If a permit, inspection, utility coordination, HOA approval, landlord approval, or code-related step is required, timing and responsibility will depend on the project and applicable Missouri or local requirements.
Payment, Financing, Rebates, and Offers
Payment terms are provided with the applicable estimate, invoice, agreement, or financing documents. Financing is subject to credit approval, lender terms, equipment selection, and current program rules. Degenhardt does not guarantee approval, rates, payment amounts, promotional financing, or continued lender availability.
Rebates, incentives, tax credits, promotions, discounts, and manufacturer or utility offers are subject to eligibility, funding, deadlines, installation requirements, documentation, participating-contractor rules, manufacturer or utility changes, and other program terms. Amounts shown on the website are estimates or published maximums, not guarantees. We may help with available information, but final eligibility and payment decisions belong to the applicable lender, manufacturer, utility, government agency, or rebate administrator.
Calls, Texts, and SMS Terms
If you provide a phone number or check an SMS consent box, you authorize Degenhardt to contact you by call or text about your request, estimate, financing inquiry, rebates, maintenance plan, appointment status, or customer support matter. Msg & data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help; consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help or contact us directly. Opting out of texts may not prevent non-marketing service communications by phone, email, mail, or other means when reasonably necessary for an active request or legal obligation.
Warranties and Manufacturer Terms
Labor, parts, equipment, and manufacturer warranties depend on the service, installed products, written agreement, maintenance requirements, registration, proper use, and manufacturer terms. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by the website. Warranty coverage may be limited or voided by misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, third-party modifications, improper operation, acts of nature, or conditions outside the covered scope.
Website Use and Intellectual Property
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and ordinary evaluation of Degenhardt services. You may not interfere with the site, submit false or misleading information, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the site in a way that harms operations, or use the site to send spam, malware, or abusive content.
Website text, design, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, service descriptions, and other content are owned by or licensed to Degenhardt, CI Web Group/Hydra, or their respective owners, unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, sell, republish, or exploit website content without permission except as allowed by law.
Third-Party Links and Tools
The website may link to or embed third-party resources, including maps, social media, review platforms, financing resources, utility or rebate administrators, manufacturer websites, analytics tools, or marketing platforms. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, decisions, privacy practices, or terms.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that website information will always be current, complete, or suitable for your specific property.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Degenhardt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from website use, delayed responses, third-party tools, financing or rebate decisions, or reliance on website information. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or changes rights and obligations stated in a signed written service agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the website, submission of false information, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim related to website use, each party should make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute proceeds, it may be brought in courts located in or serving the St. Louis, Missouri area, unless applicable law or a signed written agreement requires a different forum.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when the current version was posted. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are a customer-facing business template and should be reviewed by qualified counsel if the company wants legal advice tailored to its specific operations, contracts, warranties, financing programs, and Missouri law obligations.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA regarding your personal information, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and residents of other US states may have similar rights under their state privacy laws.
